COMPANY. After their successful tour in New Zealand in July 2007,
The Vacs-Ochoa Company will present in 2009 a renewed tango show
that attempts to surpass the distance between musicians and dancers,
suggesting an intimate interaction and closer communication. With
12 artists on stage, the show proposes an atemporal esthetic, emphasizing
the beauty of the instrumental tango and the dancing beyond styles
and time. Original music and traditional tangos played by a sextet
and new choreographies for three tango couples are included in this
seductive and dynamic proposal, showing how musicians and dancers
can perform and interact in a range of exciting possibilities. |
